Tanya Finn Ref Sketch

To finally introduce the internet to the beginning of my personal stories, this is Tanya Finn, the lead female character.

Name: Tanya Alisa Finn
Species/Race: Jhilara
Age: 23
Height: 6'1"
Weight: 163 lbs.
Skin: Light
Hair: Blonde; very curly
Iris: Periwinkle

Personality:

The first thing her friends would tell you about her is that she's a diamond with a heart of gold and shines like it. She speaks with a very warm accent that sounds a little like Australian mixed with British. Very sweet and mothering, she loves nothing more than to enjoy relaxation with the company of her friends, no matter the setting; fireplace with cocoa, stinky movie theater, or cheering on her friend's sports from the bleachers, it doesn't matter as long as she and her friends are safe, happy, and healthy. She goes above and beyond to see that everyone is comfortable, and does a lot of charity work to help others in need; her charity work has brought a good name to her family's business. 

With a keen fashion sense and a knack for beauty, she always wears pink and shiny things if possible, and owns enough clothing and jewelry for possibly all 11 other residents of her huge house (not that everyone wants to wear pink). She will overdress for any occasion, but despite her attractive body, she is very modest with her clothing and shy with her body. Although she may admire being the center of attention on occasion, she would much prefer to be recognized for her deeds and accomplishments than her physical appearance. However, in her own home, she feels the most relaxed because she feels she belongs, not having to pursue her comfortable happiness or the warm company of her friends.

Tanya excels at business matters, enjoying to exploit the loopholes in the politics and rules. Detail never slips her eyes, and she's the first to notice something out of place in anything, from legal papers to fashion to behavior. Despite that she possesses sharp social skills, she would prefer to never leave the familiar company of her friends, as her home is where her heart is. Her family's company, her job and house work always keep her on her toes (or rather, hooves), and a resting Tanya is a very, very ill Tanya. Even though she wears out on occasion, she would never want a life other than the one she has.

Species info:

Tanya is a species I designed and called Jhilara; they are much like human beings in many ways, including diets, races, lifespans, sensitivities, and reproductive systems and cycles. They are tall, unguligrade people with horse-like hooves and tails, and immovable, elf-like ears. Their dense, compact muscles allow them to be one of the fastest, bipedal, hooved species, and their tight cores and highly muscular legs create a very attractive, athletic figure in both males and females. The Jhilara are so similar to human beings that they are genetically compatible; typically, in half-human-half-Jhilara children, the child is closer visually to the species of the mother.

World tidbits:

In addition to earth-like townhouses, there exist what are called comhouses, a communal house. These houses are mansion-sized with bedrooms like apartment units, joined together by hallways to large communal rooms and living rooms and kitchens. Tanya's business-successful family owns a company that buys and sells comhouses, and combined with her family's generous wealth, allowed her easy access to owning one for the sake of housing her orphaned, homeless, or abused friends. Soon, she came to either adopting or taking care of others, totaling 11 others in her comhouse.
