Obsidavite

This was heavily inspired by ilenai's necklace, Coatlicue. Coatlicue has an incredible meaning, and I loved the design. I put together my moldavite and obsidian beads thanks to beading class I took at an awesome rock shop! "Obsidavite" is the combination of the names of the main two minerals, obsidian and moldavite.

Moldavite, a unique mineral that forms from the impact of a meteorite. The three green spheres are moss agate, and the large black spheres are obsidian. The main black strand with alternating beads (round spheres and chips) is purely obsidian beads; the shorter black strand is only obsidian on the bottom half under the green moss agate spheres, and it's glass beads above the moss agate. The green strand and the beads under the moldavite is purely glass.

Obsidian is a strong grounding stone and rids negativity very efficiently. Moldavite is also a strong grounding stone, but very unique in metaphysical function, as it is a catalyst to enhance and empower other stones. When combined with black obsidian, it aids the wearer to discover self-transformation for the better.
